The collection sites have closed for the 2021-2022 season. Do not deliver trees to the sites at this time. Leaving a tree at this time is punishable by a fine of up to $500, loss of drivers license for 6 months and all clean up costs. Omaha Municipal Code, Chapter 34, ARTICLE I, Section 4.
To dispose of a Christmas tree at this time, either cut the tree into pieces so it may fit in your black lid waste cart, or take the tree to the Oma-Gro facility as described by clicking here.

- Wreathes and evergreen roping will not be accepted.
- Flocked trees are ok.

Please throw your tree up on the pile. This will leave room for others to access the site.
You may begin using the sites on December 24. The sites are open daily during daylight hours. Assistance from volunteers is available at select sites and only on the days listed.
Volunteers from the Rotary Clubs of Omaha, and the Douglas-Sarpy Master Gardeners will staff the Tranquility North and F Street Football Field sites listed below to help you unload your tree on Sunday January 2nd, and again January 8th, and 9th, 2022, from 10AM until 4PM each day.
